✽
To strengthen disaster preparedness, volunteers receive emergency response training in Palestine and abroad. This training prepares them to carry out a multitude of tasks such as creating operation rooms, identifying needs, assessing capacities and developing interventions.

To respond to humanitarian, relief and health needs arising from the Israeli occupation (air strikes, shelling, curfews, blockade, demolitions) and natural disasters (floods, flash floods and earthquakes), PRCS offers relief items to local populations. These include hygiene kits, tents, tarpaulin sheets and food packages. It also builds camps and offers psychosocial support, First Aid and Primary Health Care via mobile clinics and Advanced Medical Posts.

✽
Workshops, training courses and meetings are held to assess risks and draw plans aimed at building local capacities and skills. These activities help reduce risks and increase community resilience to disasters, especially in remote and disadvantaged communities.
